TEKNIK-TEKNIK MENGHADAPI PEPERIKSAAN

Sepatutnya anda dapat dikatakan pakar dalam hal ini, kerana kekerapan anda mengambil peperiksaan semenjak kecil lagi. Namun begitu , anda mungkin lupa sesuatu, ataupun tidak tahu teknik-teknik yang dapat membantu kecekapan anda. Berikut beberapa panduan dan teknik yang dapat mengurangkan ketegangan menghadapi peperiksaan.

PERSIAPAN.

Persiapan pada sebelum malam peperiksaan.

Pelajar-pelajar suka belajar hingga larut malam terutama sekali pada malam sebelum peperiksaan. Sepatutnya amalan ini ditinggalkan dan sebaliknya anda cuba berehat. Tidur awal membolehkan anda berasa tenang dan bertenaga semasa menghadapi peperiksaan pada keesokannya harinya.

• Tanamkan azam dan semangat berjaya dan ini dapat diperkuatkan sekiranya anda telah mematuhi strategi belajar yang bermula pada awal semester. Letakkan (gambar) di dinding dengan tulisan seperti ‘Anda Boleg Berjaya1' atau ‘You Can Do It'.
• Kurangkan meminum minuman the dan kopi. Jangan gunakan dadah perangsang seperti Amfetamin atau ‘Pep Pills' yang senang disalahgunakan oleh pelajar semasa hendak mengambil peperiksaan.
• Kumpulkan semua barang yang perlu dibawa ke dewan peperiksaan seperti beberapa batang pensil, pen, pemadam atau tip-ex, kad metrik atau kad pengenalan dan sebagainya.

PAGI HARI PEPERIKSAAN

• Pastikan anda makan sarapan yang mencukupi kerana anda memerlukan tenaga mental dan fizikal sepanjang hari.
• Sekiranya anda perlu pengangkutan untuk ke dewan peperiksaan, anggarkan masa yang diperlukan, supaya anda tidak lewat.
• Apabila sampai ke dewan peperiksaan anda akan melihat keadaan seperti ini: Ada pelajar yang masih sedang menyemak nota, ada yang sedang berbincang dan ada yang bergelak ketawa antara mereka. Ada baiknya anda menjauhkan diri daripada mereka supaya anda tidak merasa panik. Misalnya, apabila berbual mungkin anda mendapati bahawa anda terlupa belajar sesuatu dan ini akan menakutkan anda. Kalau perlu dan kalau ada masa, belek nota-nota supaya segala yang dipelajari segar dalam ingatan.
• Apabila dibenarkan masuk ke dalam dewan, tentukan bahawa tempat duduk anda memuaskan. Adakah tempat itu terlalu sejuk atau terlalu panas? Bagaimana dengan cahaya lampu? Adakah meja tulis dan kerusi sesuai?

HARI PEPERIKSAAN

* Tindakan berikut perlu anda jalankan pada hari peperiksaan

• Pastikan pusat, bangunan dan lokasi peperiksaan. Aktiviti ini sangat penting bagi calon persendirian terutama yang menduduki satu peperiksaan sahaja.
• Semak peraturan peperiksaan sama ada peraturan umum atau khas.
• Sampai ke pusat peperiksaan awal supaya jangan terburu-buru.
• Baca dengan teliti format dan arahan kertas peperiksaan.
• Pilih soalan yang terbail untuk dijawab. Beberapa soalan yang boleh dijawab dengan baik iaitu boleh memberikan banyak markah perlu dipilih sebelum menjawab.
• Tulis dengan jelas dan cepat
• Peruntukan masa bagi setiap jawapan perlu dikawal.
• Masa menulis perlu digunakan dengan sepenuhnaya.
• Jangan tinggalkan dewan peperiksaan sebelum kertas jawapan dipungut oleh para pengawas peperiksaan.

BUNTU FIKIRAN/TEKANAN FIZIKAL DAN PSIKOLOGIKAL PADA MUSIM PEPERIKSAAN.

• Ia boleh diatasi dengan pencegahan
• Ia boleh disebabkan oleh kurang persediaan, ulangan atau ualangkaji
• Jalankan kegiatan ulangan tiap-tiap hari dan minggu.
• Pelajar dinasihatkan supaya jangan gementar
• Bernafas panjang dan dalam
• Bersantai iaitu berehat
• Cuba ingatkan baik dengan mengingati fakta yang berkaitan dengan fakta yang dilupai – cuba cari pertaliannya.
• Rujuk balik kepada nota (bukan semasa peperiksaan)
• Akibat kurang tidur, atau salah makan
• Jalankan senaman ringan untuk mengurangkan ketegangan.

KELETIHAN FIZIKAL DAN CARA MENGATASINYA

• Jaga masa tidur.
• Rehatkan tangan, mata dan otot-otot semasa menjawab soalan sekali sekala.
• Ambil angin sebentar
• Basuh muka dengan air sejuk

Panduan Umum

• Baca soalan dengan tenang dan jangan gopoh
• Rancang jawapan (lakar jawapan)

2.Ujian Objektif

• Baca arahan dengan teliti
• Baca dengan cepat semua soalan dahulu
• Jawab dengan cepat yang pasti betul jawapannya
• Balik kepada soalan-soalan yang belum berjawab. Analisa soalan-soalan yang sukar untuk mendapatkan perkataan kunci atau bayangan (clue)
• Baca beberapa kali
• Pilih dan buang jawapan yang tidak tepat/rapat dengan soalan.
• Jangan terus ketepikan jawapan "semuanya di atas" atau "bukan di atas"
• Pilih jawapan "semuanya di atas" apabila semua pilihan jawapan betul.
• Baca jawapan untuk memahami soalan
• Padankan soalan dengan setiap jawapan cara berasingan. Ini mungkin boleh menolong mendapatkan jawapan yang baik/tepat walaupun ia tidak merupakan yang setepatnya. Ini lebih baik daripada cuba mengagak saja.
• Olah balik soalan suapaya senang difahami. Cari contoh-contoh yang boleh menambah kefahaman kita terhadap soalan. Baca balik soalan asal dan cuba dapatkan jawapan yang setepat mungkin.
• Gunakan maklumat/pengetahuan yang ada dalam soalan dan jawapan yang lain
• Cuba teka adalah usaha terakhir
• Semak jawapan

TEKNIK MENYEDIAKAN NOTA BERMUTU.

Nota yang baik ialah nota yang mempunyai ciri-ciri seperti ringkas, padat, berkaitan antara satu fakta dengan fakta yang lain, menarik, mudah dibaca, boleh difahami dan mudah untuk diingat. Terdapat berbagai kemahiran yang perlu dikuasai oleh seorang pelajar bagi membolehkan mereka membuat dan menyediakan nota yang baik dan bermutu. Kemahiran tersebut ialah;

• Kemahiran pelajar memahami suatu petikan.
• Mengenalpasti kata kunci yang terdapat dalam suatu petikan.
• Memahiran menyusun kata kunci.
• Kreativiti seseorang pelajar dalam penyediaan nota.

Proses lain yang turut dalam teknik menyediakan nota ialah:

1. Mendengar maklumat yang disampaikan oleh guru.
2. Menumpukan pendengaran terhadap maklumat yang disampaikan.
3. Memahami maklumat yang disampaikan.
4. Mengenalpasti isi penting dan mencatat bahan (nota).
5. Sementara itu teknik mencatat nota yang dicadangkan ialah seperti berikut;
6. Membuat persediaan awal seperti menyediakan alatulis.
7. Membaca sepintas lalu tajuk yang akan dibincangkan.
8. Mencatat isi penting sahaja.
9. Menggunakan perkataan sendiri yang mudah difahami.
10. Tulisan hendaklah jelas.
11. Menyalin rajah atau data yang diberi dengan lengkap.
12. Semak semula dan tandakan mana-mana yang tertinggal.
13. Melengkapkan secepat mungkin nota-nota yang tertinggal.

TEKNIK MENYEDIAKAN NOTA BERMUTU.
